A CoMotion party is an interactive ever-changing dance, movement and play space. Music accompanies the dancing and activities.   Parties can start with some action songs or circle activities which is good if the children are mostly under three. For older children, the session can start more freely but can also include dance and movement games.  Activities and music will be adjusted to be age appropriate. The ideal  age range for CoMotion party is 2-8, but this is not exclusive.

There is always discussion before a party which allows for the inclusion of theme related activities,  songs to be added to the playlist or any other adjustments for individual needs.

 

A CoMotion party is a good format if you have a range of ages attending your party. The variety of props and objects will include something for all and  is always improved with adult participation.  The first half  includes a range of playground toys and the second half  usually includes the disco lights, dress up, dance props and everybody is encouraged to have a good dance around.

 

There can be a special focus on the birthday child at the beginning and the end of party.

The party can be :

 

either 40'sh mins activities,  a break, and then another 40'sh mins 

 

or 60'sh mins of activities

 

CoMotion would need to charge a bit extra for traveling if the party is outside the Bournemouth area or if  an  assistant is required for parties of more than 16'sh children.
